Data Mining Analyst

We are currently hiring a Data Mining Analyst to join our dynamic team in Akron. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends. Your role will involve utilizing various data mining tools and techniques to extract insights and provide actionable recommendations to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify relevant data sources and collect necessary data for analysis
- Analyze large sets of data using statistical methods and data mining tools
- Build predictive models to identify patterns and trends in the data
- Interpret results from data analysis and provide insights to support business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies based on data-driven insights
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Continuously monitor data accuracy, completeness, and integrity

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience in data mining, statistical analysis, or related field
- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g. MySQL)
- Experience with statistical software (e.g. R, SAS) and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Akron (willingness to relocate preferred)
