Turner (Contract) - Greenland


We are in need of a skilled Turner to join our team in Greenland on a contract basis. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating machine tools to shape and form metal or plastic materials into parts for various industrial applications. Your duties will include reading blueprints, setting up and adjusting machines, and inspecting finished products for quality.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience operating manual and CNC machines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
- Good physical stamina and dexterity

Responsibilities:
- Read technical drawings and blueprints to determine specifications
- Set up and adjust machine tools according to specifications
- Operate manual or CNC machines to cut, shape, and form metal or plastic materials
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot production issues as needed
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure all safety protocols are followed

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Turner or similar role
- Proficient in operating manual and CNC machines
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques

This is a contract position with potential for extension based on performance. We offer competitive compensation of $900 per week. Applicants must have their own visa for working in Greenland.
