Database Administrator (Indian Nationals Preferred)

A leading IT company in Herzliya is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team. This full-time position is suitable for Indian nationals who are fluent in English and have experience working with databases.

As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our company's databases. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems, as well as troubleshooting issues and ensuring data quality. You will also work closely with developers to optimize database performance and manage database backups.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with strong knowledge of database management systems such as Oracle or SQL Server. A degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing database systems
- Ensuring data security and integrity
- Monitoring database performance and troubleshooting issues
- Collaborating with developers to optimize database performance
- Managing database backups and disaster recovery plans

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems such as Oracle or SQL Server
- Experience in data backup and recovery procedures
- Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, PL/SQL, or T-SQL
- Degree in computer science or related field (preferred)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
