Database Administrator

We are hiring a Database Administrator to join our growing team in Herzliya. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases to ensure smooth and efficient operation. You will work closely with our IT department to troubleshoot any issues and make necessary updates. The ideal candidate will have experience in database management, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$. Canadian nationality preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize company databases for optimal performance
- Troubleshoot any database issues that arise
- Develop and implement backup procedures
- Monitor database security and perform security updates as needed
- Collaborate with IT department to ensure database compatibility with other systems
- Assist in developing data management policies and procedures
- Train employees on proper database usage and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Experience with database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Canadian nationality preferred but not required
