Mechanic Technician - Bungoma


We are a well-established automotive repair shop in Bungoma, Kenya seeking a skilled Mechanic Technician to join our team. As a Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining various vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough inspections of vehicles to determine necessary repairs
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various types of vehicles
- Replace or repair faulty parts and components, such as brakes, engines, and transmissions
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Communicate with customers to explain repairs and provide cost estimates
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Maintain updated knowledge of new technologies and techniques in the automotive industry

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or Mechanic Technician
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical degree or certification from an accredited institution preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Fluent in English

Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
