Junior Typesetter
Location: Monte-Carlo, Monaco


We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Typesetter to join our team in Monte-Carlo. As a Junior Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting type and arranging text and images in an aesthetically pleasing and readable manner. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to gain experience in the publishing industry.

Responsibilities:
- Set type using various software programs, such as Adobe InDesign
- Arrange text and images according to design specifications
- Proofread content for spelling, grammar, and formatting errors
- Collaborate with graphic designers and editors to ensure layout meets project requirements
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred)
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign or other typesetting software
- Strong understanding of typography, spacing, and layout design principles
- Excellent written communication skills in English (knowledge of French is a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1600 per month.
