Shaper - Bungoma, Kenya


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shaper to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Shaper, you will be responsible for creating and shaping metal, wood, or other materials into desired shapes and designs. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or design sketches to determine the shape and dimensions of the final product
- Use hand tools and machines such as saws, sanders, grinders, and lathes to shape materials
- Ensure that finished products meet quality standards and specifications
- Operate welding equipment to join metal pieces together if necessary
- Collaborate with designers or clients to discuss project requirements and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shaper or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret design sketches accurately
- Proficient in using hand tools and machines such as saws, sanders, grinders, and lathes
- Basic knowledge of welding techniques is preferred but not required
- Excellent attention to detail and precision
- Good physical stamina to handle long periods of standing, bending, lifting, and operating machinery
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with designers or clients

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month based on skills and experience.
