Network and Systems Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team in Alta, Norway. As the Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure, servers, and systems. Your primary role will be to ensure the smooth operation of our computer networks, troubleshooting any issues that arise and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure data security by implementing firewalls, encryption methods, and access controls
- Manage user accounts and permissions on all network systems
- Perform regular backups of network data to ensure data integrity
- Maintain system documentation including network diagrams and configuration details
- Collaborate with other IT team members to design and implement new systems or upgrades
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies related to networking and systems administration

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in network administration or a related role
- Experience with Cisco networking equipment is preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues quickly
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical team members

Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Alta, Norway (accommodation can be provided if needed)
