Senior JAVA Developer - Copenhagen, Denmark


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior JAVA Developer to join our dynamic team in Copenhagen, Denmark. As a Senior JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining complex Java applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features and enhance existing ones. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JAVA development and be familiar with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain high-quality Java applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions
- Write clean, efficient and testable code
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues
- Optimize application performance
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
- Mentor junior developers on coding standards and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in JAVA development
- Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, Hibernate, JSP/Servlets, RESTful web services and SQL databases
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Fluent in English (Danish is a plus)
