Finisher for Woodworking Company in Los Angeles, USA

We are a woodworking company based in Los Angeles, USA looking for an experienced Finisher to join our team. As a Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishes to wood furniture and other products according to specifications. This is a contract job with a salary of 1100$ per week.

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Finisher in a woodworking or furniture manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of different types of wood finishes and application techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Attention to detail and quality control skills
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary
- Indian nationality preferred, but not required
- No English language proficiency required

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, and repairing any imperfections
- Apply stains, varnishes, lacquers or other finishes using spray guns, brushes or rollers according to specifications
- Ensure consistent color and sheen throughout each piece
- Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments if needed
- Maintain equipment and work area clean and organized
