Preservation Architect

A dynamic and experienced Preservation Architect is needed for a contract position in Beer-Sheva. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for preserving historical buildings and structures, and be able to understand the unique challenges of working with historic structures. The candidate must have previous experience in conducting surveys, documenting buildings, developing preservation plans, and coordinating with various stakeholders. Fluency in English is preferred but not required. This position is open to all nationalities.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys and assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to historical guidelines and regulations
- Collaborate with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completion
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of building conditions, materials, and recommendations for preservation
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations
- Provide on-site support during restoration or rehabilitation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in preservation architecture or related field
- Familiarity with historical building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design software is a plus

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
