Preservation Architect

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city of Lisbon. Your main duties will include conducting research and surveys on the historical significance of buildings, developing preservation plans and strategies, and overseeing restoration projects.

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in preservation architecture
- Strong knowledge of historical preservation principles and practices
- Experience with conducting research and surveys on historical buildings
- Ability to develop preservation plans and oversee restoration projects
- Excellent communication and project management skills

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on the historical significance of buildings and structures in Lisbon
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for historical properties
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the successful implementation of preservation projects
- Oversee restoration projects to ensure they are completed according to preservation standards
- Document all preservation activities for future reference
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in the field of historic preservation

Salary: $1000 per month (with accommodation provided)

This is a contract job with the possibility of extension based on performance.
