Executive Chef
Our hotel in Albena is seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a creative flair, as well as strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team. This position offers a competitive salary of 1500$, as well as opportunities for growth and development within our company.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and food preparation
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure high quality dishes are consistently delivered
- Develop new menu items that reflect current food trends and customer preferences
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety
- Monitor and control food costs while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and implement them into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting
- Proven track record of managing a successful kitchen team
- Strong knowledge of different cuisine styles and cooking techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
