Construction Manager

Our construction company is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee our projects in Muscat. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry and a strong understanding of project management principles. As an English speaking job, fluency in both English and Hindi is preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring quality workmanship. A biometric passport is required for this position as the candidate may need to travel internationally for project meetings or site visits. The salary for this position is $1700 per month, with potential for bonuses based on performance.

As a Construction Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Developing project plans and budgets, including cost estimation and resource allocation.
- Overseeing construction progress and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and addressing any safety concerns on site.
- Managing relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the completed projects.
- Mentoring and supervising junior staff members.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management.
- Strong understanding of project management principles.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Hindi.
- Experience working on international projects is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
