Plasterer

We are currently seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team in Funchal. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in order to create a smooth and even finish. This role requires attention to detail, physical strength and stamina, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and priming them before applying plaster
- Measure and cut plasterboard or other materials to fit specific areas
- Apply coats of plaster using trowels or spray guns
- Smooth out inconsistencies and imperfections in the plaster surface
- Create decorative finishes by adding texture or stenciling designs
- Repair damaged plaster on existing walls or ceilings
- Follow safety protocols when working with scaffolding or ladders

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterer, with at least 3 years of experience in the field
- Strong knowledge of different types of plasters and their application techniques
- Physical strength and stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail and ability to create smooth finishes without imperfections
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic understanding of safety protocols when working at heights

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional vocational training or certification in plastering is preferred.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1800$, with potential for increases based on performance.

Location:
This role is located in Funchal, Portugal. Visa sponsorship is available for non-EU applicants.
