Housekeeper in Bungoma, Kenya


Our hotel in Bungoma is looking for a professional and experienced Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment for our guests. This is a contract position with an urgent need to fill.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back of house areas according to hotel standards
- Change linens and make beds in guest rooms
- Stock and maintain housekeeping carts with necessary supplies
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or needed repairs in guest rooms or public areas
- Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints regarding housekeeping services
- Ensure all housekeeping equipment is properly maintained and stored
- Follow all safety procedures while cleaning and handling chemicals
- Assist with laundry services as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Housekeeper or similar role preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills, fluent English not required but preferred
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Availability to work weekends and holidays if needed
- Kenyan nationality preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this contract position. In addition, we provide free visa sponsorship and air tickets for our employees.
