Skilled Glazier in Faroe Islands


We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team in Faroe Islands. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing glass windows, doors, and other structures in residential and commercial buildings. Your role will involve measuring and cutting glass, removing old glass panels, and ensuring proper installation with weatherproofing.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass to specified dimensions using tools such as cutters, saws, and drills
- Remove old or broken glass panels from frames and clean the area before installation
- Install new glass panels in frames, ensuring proper fit and alignment
- Secure glass panels with putty, sealant, or screws to prevent movement or leaks
- Install weatherproofing materials around edges of frames to prevent water or air infiltration
- Repair or replace damaged glass as needed
- Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and provide recommendations for the best type of glass for their needs

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Glazier or similar role in construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with various types of glass (e.g. tempered, laminated) and their properties
- Physical stamina to work on ladders, scaffolds, and other elevated surfaces
- Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and installations
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this full-time position. Accommodation will also be provided along with free visa processing and flight ticket.
