Glazier



As a Glazier, you will be responsible for cutting, installing, and repairing various types of glass in residential and commercial buildings. You will work with a team of skilled professionals to ensure that all glass installations are done accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass to specified dimensions using tools such as glass cutters or saws
- Install glass into frames, using clips, moldings or other types of fasteners
- Replace broken or damaged glass panes in windows, doors, or other structures
- Smooth edges of glass using sandpaper or other tools
- Apply weather-stripping to seal openings in order to prevent drafts
- Fabricate and install metal frames for glass installation
- Follow safety procedures while working on ladders or scaffolds

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Glazier or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of glass and their properties
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical ability to work with heavy materials
- Attention to detail and precision in cutting, measuring and installing glass
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients

Salary: $1500 per month

Location: Faroe Islands (accommodation not provided)

Visa: Free visa provided along with ticket expenses for non-residents
