Information Security Analyst - Svalbard
As an Information Security Analyst in Svalbard, you will play a crucial role in protecting the company's sensitive information and technology assets. You will utilize your expertise in cybersecurity to proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks, as well as respond to any security incidents that may occur. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular security assessments, implementing and maintaining security protocols and procedures, and staying up-to-date on the latest industry trends and best practices. You will also be responsible for educating employees on security awareness and training them on proper security protocols. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM. Previous experience in information security is preferred. Salary: $1600 per month (with accommodation)
Location: Svalbard (free visa and ticket provided)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Prior experience in information security preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of industry best practices and trends
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in English (Norwegian language skills preferred but not required)
