Sous Chef
As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing and overseeing the kitchen operations of our restaurant in Kolding. Your expertise in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in creating and developing new menu items
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes, including local specialties
- Ensure all food is prepared and served according to established standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients when needed
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operation during peak hours
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Attention to detail and passion for creating high-quality dishes
Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Kolding, Denmark (candidates of any nationality are welcome to apply)
