Entry-Level Baker in Funchal, Portugal
We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Baker in Funchal, Portugal. As a baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about baking and looking to gain experience in a professional setting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs, batters, and fillings according to recipes
- Operate bakery equipment such as ovens and mixers
- Shape and decorate doughs to create different types of breads and pastries
- Monitor baking process to ensure quality and consistency
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have own visa for working in Portugal
- Must be able to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
