Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the company's financial records. They will also oversee the work of junior accounting staff and provide guidance and training as needed. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for management
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
- Review and reconcile bank statements and other financial records
- Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations for improving financial performance
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff as needed
- Conduct regular audits to identify potential errors or discrepancies
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Prior experience managing a team is preferred
- Fluent in English (French language skills are a plus)
Location: La-Condamine, Monaco (visa sponsorship available)
Salary: $1100/month (negotiable based on experience)
