Head Pastry Chef
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team in Horsens, Denmark. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the production of all pastries and desserts for our restaurant. You will also manage a team of pastry cooks, ensuring that they are properly trained and following all safety and sanitation guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop unique and innovative pastry recipes that align with our restaurant's concept
- Create and maintain a production schedule for all pastries and desserts
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all pastries to ensure quality standards are met
- Train, mentor, and supervise pastry cooks in proper techniques, recipes, and sanitation procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary ingredients
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with the head chef to create seasonal menus
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant environment
- In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques, including baking, decorating, plating, etc.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating new flavors and presentations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per week along with potential bonuses based on performance.
