Land Surveyor Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Land Surveyor Technician to join our team in Braga. You will be responsible for assisting our team with data collection, analysis, and mapping of land surveying projects. This is a contract job with a salary of $1300 per month, and accommodation will be provided. We welcome applications from individuals without experience, as training will be provided. However, having a biometric passport is preferred. This position is open to both men and women.

As a Land Surveyor Technician, you will work closely with our team of experienced surveyors to collect accurate data using various tools such as GPS equipment and total stations. You will also assist in the processing and analysis of this data to create detailed maps and reports for our clients.

To excel in this role, you should have strong mathematical skills and attention to detail. Experience using surveying software such as AutoCAD or ArcGIS is preferred but not required. As this is a physically demanding job, you should be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in data collection using GPS equipment and total stations
- Process and analyze collected data to create detailed maps and reports
- Conduct field surveys to locate property boundaries, topographic features, and other relevant information
- Use surveying instruments to measure distances, angles, elevations, and contours
- Adhere to all safety procedures while working on site
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in project completion

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Strong mathematical skills
- Attention to detail
- Physical fitness for outdoor work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Biometric passport (preferred)
- Experience using surveying software (preferred)
