Pastry Chef Assistant



As a Pastry Chef Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our Head Pastry Chef in creating and preparing a variety of pastries and desserts. You will need to have a passion for pastry making, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an entry-level position for someone who is looking to start their career in the culinary industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and preparing various pastries and desserts according to recipes provided by the Head Pastry Chef
- Measure and mix ingredients accurately, ensuring consistency and quality of all products
- Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Help with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of all pastry orders

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or relevant training preferred
- Proven experience in a pastry or bakery setting is a plus, but not required
- Passion for pastry making and willingness to learn from our Head Pastry Chef
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month based on experience.

Location:
This position is located in Odense, Denmark. We welcome applicants of any nationality who have the necessary permits to work in Denmark.
