Heavy Equipment Operator in Faroe Islands



We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Faroe Islands. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. Your main duty will be to maneuver and control the equipment to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to company policies and procedures
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
- Follow project plans and blueprints to determine the best course of action for completing tasks
- Use hand signals, radios, or other communication tools to coordinate with ground crew during operations
- Safely load and unload materials onto trucks or other vehicles using the equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any minor issues that may arise during operation
- Keep accurate records of daily operations, including hours worked, materials used, and tasks completed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, or loaders
- Familiarity with different types of heavy machinery and their functions
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and ability to follow them at all times
- Ability to read project plans and blueprints is preferred but not required
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Own visa jobs are preferred but not required

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month. Benefits such as health insurance, vacation days, and retirement plans may also be included.

Location:
This job is located in Faroe Islands. Candidates who are already living on the islands with their own visas are preferred but we are open to candidates from other nationalities as well.
