Preservation Architect - India to Moscow



We are seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Moscow, Russia. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for the preservation, restoration, and rehabilitation of historic buildings and structures in India and Moscow. This is an excellent opportunity for an Indian architect with a passion for preserving cultural heritage to work on exciting projects in a global setting.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys and assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for restoration and rehabilitation projects
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the preservation process
- Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with preservation plans
- Conduct research on historical styles, materials, and construction techniques
- Advise clients on appropriate preservation methods and materials
- Collaborate with government agencies to obtain necessary approvals for preservation projects
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to historic preservation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Preservation Architect or similar role
- Knowledge of Indian architectural styles and techniques is preferred
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning ordinances, and other relevant regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English language (written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
