Preservation Architect
We are seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Moscow. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving historical buildings and structures by assessing their condition, developing preservation plans, and overseeing restoration and renovation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine their condition and identify areas in need of preservation or restoration
- Developing preservation plans that meet the standards of local, state, and federal agencies
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the proper execution of preservation plans
- Overseeing restoration and renovation projects to ensure they are completed according to the preservation plan and within budget
- Conducting research on historical construction techniques, materials, and styles to inform preservation plans
- Providing guidance on maintenance and repairs for historical buildings and structures
- Communicating with stakeholders including government agencies, property owners, and community organizations regarding preservation projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation or restoration projects
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines for historic preservation
- Strong understanding of historical construction techniques, materials, and styles
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various professionals and stakeholders
Salary: 1600$
Location: Moscow (accommodation provided)
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
