DevOps Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Developer to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a DevOps Developer, your main responsibility will be to collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT members to manage code releases, develop and maintain automation processes, and ensure smooth deployment of applications. You should have a strong understanding of software development, infrastructure management, and automation tools. Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure is highly preferred. Salary: 1500$ per month

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software developers to design and implement efficient code release processes
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for configuration management, deployment, and monitoring tasks
- Ensure seamless integration between various systems through automation
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the deployment process
- Implement security measures to safeguard against potential cyber threats
- Work closely with system administrators to manage infrastructure resources efficiently
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to DevOps processes and tools
- Participate in the on-call rotation for production support
