Job Title: Mason - Svalbard



We are currently seeking a skilled Mason to join our team in the beautiful and unique location of Svalbard. As a full time employee, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing buildings, walls, and other structures using various materials such as brick, stone, and concrete.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Mason
- Must have a valid biometric passport (for all nationalities)
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and methods
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team

Responsibilities:
- Lay out patterns or foundations according to blueprints or instructions
- Cut or shape stone, brick, or other materials to fit specific locations
- Mix mortar or grout according to specified formulas
- Use hand tools such as hammers, chisels, trowels, levels, etc.
- Build corners by fastening in plumb position using corner poles or by building up corners from courses
- Repair cracks or holes in existing masonry structures
- Clean work area and tools after completion of job

Salary:
As a Mason in Svalbard, you can expect a competitive salary of 1300$ per month. This may vary depending on experience and skill level.
