Preservation Architect

We are in search of a Preservation Architect to join our team in Fonvieille. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and government agencies to ensure that all preservation projects are carried out according to local and national regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation and restoration work
- Develop detailed plans and specifications for preservation projects, taking into consideration historical significance and structural integrity
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for preserving the historical integrity of their properties
- Collaborate with contractors to oversee the execution of preservation projects, ensuring that all work is done according to specifications and regulations
- Communicate with government agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals for preservation projects
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise during the course of a project
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all preservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Preservation Architect
- Extensive knowledge of historic preservation techniques, materials, and regulations
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluent in French (knowledge of other languages is a plus)

Salary: $1200 per month. This is a full-time position without accommodation provided.
