Interpreting Assistant
We are seeking a highly-motivated and detail-oriented Interpreting Assistant to join our team in Los Angeles. This is a part-time position, perfect for someone looking to gain experience in the interpreting field. As an Interpreting Assistant, you will work closely with our team of interpreters to provide language support for our clients, who predominantly speak Indian languages. No prior experience is required, but fluency in English and at least one Indian language is necessary. This position does not include accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services for clients during meetings, appointments, and other communication
- Assist with administrative tasks related to interpreting services, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining client records
- Collaborate with other interpreters to ensure accuracy and consistency in interpretation
- Attend training sessions to improve language skills and knowledge of cultural nuances
- Occasionally travel with clients to provide interpretation services during trips or events

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and at least one Indian language (Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different communication styles
- Availability for occasional travel

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of $1100 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Los Angeles but may require occasional travel within the city or surrounding areas.
