Part-Time Land Surveyor
As a part-time land surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and mapping of land areas in the city of Oslo. Your main duties will include measuring and recording accurate data, analyzing survey data using specialized equipment and software, and preparing reports and maps for clients. You must have relevant experience in the field of land surveying, as well as knowledge of biometric passport requirements. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys to determine boundaries, topography, and other features of land areas
- Use specialized equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and laser scanners to collect data
- Analyze survey data using software programs like AutoCAD or ArcGIS
- Prepare detailed reports and maps for clients
- Communicate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide accurate information
- Ensure all work is completed within designated timelines and budget constraints
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and technological advancements in land surveying
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a land surveyor or similar role
- Familiarity with biometric passport requirements for international travel
- Proficiency in using specialized equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and laser scanners
- Strong knowledge of surveying methods, techniques, and principles
- Ability to analyze data using software programs like AutoCAD or ArcGIS
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be able to work independently without supervision
