Executive Chef in Fonvieille
We are looking for a talented and creative Executive Chef to join our team in Fonvieille. Our restaurant is known for its innovative and high-quality cuisine, and we need someone who can continue to elevate our dishes and bring new ideas to the table.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create new menu items and update existing ones
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and food quality standards
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stock control
- Collaborate with management to develop business strategies
- Maintain a positive working relationship with suppliers
- Develop relationships with local farmers to source fresh ingredients
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and incorporate them into menu planning
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Proven track record of creating innovative dishes that have been well-received by customers
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop relationships with local suppliers for sourcing fresh ingredients
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
Salary: $1800 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Fonvieille (accommodation not provided)
