Job Title: Database Administrator


A reputable company in Aarhus is seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's databases. Your main objective will be to ensure the security, availability, and performance of our databases while also providing support to other teams within the company.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain the company's databases
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing backup and recovery plans
- Optimize database performance through regular maintenance and tuning
- Collaborate with other teams to understand their data needs and provide support
- Develop documentation and training materials for database systems
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in database management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle)
- Experience with database design, implementation, performance tuning, backup & recovery methods
- Familiarity with programming languages (SQL, Python)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Aarhus city. However, we are open to considering candidates from anywhere in the world as long as they are able to relocate to Aarhus.
