Job Title: Carpenter - Contract Position in Lahore



We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis in Lahore. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. This position is open to all nationalities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications for structures and furniture
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Cut, shape, and smooth materials using hand or power tools
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings etc.
- Finish surfaces of woodwork using sandpaper or paint
- Inspect structures to ensure they meet building codes and safety standards
- Repair or replace damaged or defective wooden structures
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in using hand and power tools such as saws, chisels, drills etc.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Good knowledge of wood properties and other construction materials
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Basic understanding of mathematics for measurements and calculations
- Physical stamina to handle heavy equipment and long hours on the job
- Attention to detail with good manual dexterity

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred
- Valid carpentry license or certification is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively in English

Salary:
This is a contract position with a monthly salary of 1400$. Salary may be negotiable based on experience.

Location:
This position is located in Lahore. Candidates must be willing to travel within the city for various projects.
