Part-Time Radio Technician
Location: Svalbard, Norway
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team on a part-time basis in Svalbard. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various radio equipment for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual with strong technical skills and a passion for radio technology.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure radio equipment according to specifications and industry standards
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on radio systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with radio equipment
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete projects efficiently
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in radio technology and make recommendations for improvements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Proficient in using tools and diagnostic equipment to maintain and repair radio systems
- Strong understanding of electronic principles and circuitry
- Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position without accommodation provided. The working hours will be agreed upon with the employer. Visa sponsorship may be available for qualified candidates.
