Information Security Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Esbjerg. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying potential security risks and implementing measures to protect our company's data and systems. You will work closely with IT teams and business units to ensure that security protocols are in place and followed. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security frameworks, compliance regulations, and risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security threats
- Develop and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or unauthorized access
- Investigate security breaches and provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging threats, and new technologies in information security
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security tools and solutions
- Conduct training sessions on information security best practices for employees
- Prepare reports on the status of information security measures for management review

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security or a related role
- Knowledge of common information security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and other network security technologies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential risks and develop effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals

Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Esbjerg (no relocation assistance provided)
Employment Type: Contract (6 months initially with possibility of extension)
