Hotel Sales Manager - Funchal, Madeira
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in the beautiful city of Funchal, Madeira. This is a contract job with a salary of 1500$, including accommodation. This position is open to all genders and does not require prior experience.
As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue and meet business goals. You will work closely with the hotel management team to identify potential clients, create sales plans, and execute marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Create and maintain relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare sales reports and present them to senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g. marketing, front desk) to create integrated sales campaigns.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the hotel.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.
- Proven experience in sales or marketing in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Familiarity with CRM software is preferred.
- Fluency in English (both verbal and written).
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
