Hotel Sales Manager - Funchal, Portugal
We are currently seeking a driven and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and increasing revenue for our hotel by developing and maintaining relationships with clients and promoting our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase hotel bookings and revenue.
- Identify potential clients, build relationships, and negotiate contracts to secure business.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competition.
- Create attractive packages and promotions to attract new clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Analyze sales data and provide reports on performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, events, and networking opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- Prior experience in hotel sales or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
