Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Atlanta. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery, such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes. Your main duties will include maneuvering equipment to perform tasks such as digging, grading, and moving materials. You must have a strong understanding of safety procedures and be able to accurately follow instructions.

Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Strong communication skills
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to supervisor
- Follow instructions from project manager or site foreman
- Use GPS systems to accurately locate digging areas
- Communicate effectively with team members on site
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective gear at all times
- Complete daily logs and reports detailing work completed
