Job Title: Part-Time Information Security Analyst

As a part-time Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information within our company. This includes conducting risk assessments, implementing security measures, and monitoring systems for potential threats. You will also be responsible for educating employees on security best practices and responding to any security incidents. A biometric passport is required for this role as it may involve handling sensitive data. This is a part-time position in Bergen, with a salary of $1400 per month. Accommodation is not provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and make recommendations for mitigation.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect against unauthorized access or data breaches.
- Monitor systems and networks for potential security threats and respond to any incidents.
- Update policies and procedures related to information security.
- Educate employees on security best practices and provide training as needed.
- Stay current on industry trends and developments in information security.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, etc.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR or HIPAA.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals.

Preferred:
- Certification in information security (e.g. CISSP, CISM).
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools.
- Knowledge of cloud computing environments.
