Senior Architect (Part-Time)


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team in Funchal on a part-time basis. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of architectural design projects, from conceptualization to final construction. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Develop design concepts and create detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information and assess feasibility of proposed designs.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and other professionals throughout the design process.
- Prepare project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and zoning laws.
- Oversee construction progress and make necessary adjustments to designs as needed.
- Mentor junior architects to ensure quality work and professional development.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- At least 5 years of experience in architectural design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and zoning laws.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary:
The salary for this part-time position is 1400$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Funchal. Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.
