Contract Machine Operator in Bergen, Norway



We are currently seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Bergen, Norway on a contract basis. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various types of machinery to produce high-quality products for our company. You will work with a variety of materials and tools, and have the opportunity to utilize your technical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate assigned machinery according to production schedules and specifications
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure quality standards are met
- Make necessary adjustments to machines to maintain efficiency and productivity
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed
- Complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or similar role is required
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Experience working with various types of machinery such as lathes, mills, grinders, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in English (written and verbal)
- Must have valid work authorization in Norway

Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
