Moderator - Svalbard



As a Moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring and regulating online discussions and conversations on various platforms. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor online discussions, comments, and posts to ensure they adhere to community guidelines
- Interact with users to address any concerns or violations of guidelines
- Facilitate discussions between users and help resolve conflicts or issues that may arise
- Collaborate with other moderators and team members to maintain a positive and respectful online environment
- Keep up-to-date with current events and trends within the community

Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of social media platforms
- Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
- Proven experience in moderating online communities is preferred
- Knowledge of Svalbard's culture, customs, and language is a plus
- Must be able to work full-time hours
