Preservation Architect
As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for the conservation, protection, and restoration of historical buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and construction teams to develop plans for preserving and restoring these structures while ensuring they meet modern safety and building standards.
Your duties will include conducting site evaluations to assess the condition of the structure, researching historical information to guide restoration efforts, and creating detailed plans for repairs and renovations. You will also oversee construction work to ensure it is carried out according to your specifications.
To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in Architecture or a related field and at least 3 years of experience working on historical preservation projects. Strong communication skills are essential as you will need to collaborate with various stakeholders throughout the project. Experience with historic preservation guidelines and regulations is also preferred.
This is a contract position located in Shan with a salary of $1500 per month. Candidates from Pakistan or Nepal are encouraged to apply. Fluency in English is required for this role.
