Carpenter for Residential Construction Company in Funchal


We are a reputable residential construction company located in the beautiful city of Funchal, seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in carpentry and must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and materials needed
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to drawings or templates
- Cut or shape materials using hand or power tools
- Assemble and fasten materials using nails, screws, or adhesives
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, or hardware
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance
- Repair or replace damaged parts or structures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in residential carpentry
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Knowledge of safety precautions for working with wood and other materials
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
