Cashier at a Busy Porto Supermarket


We are looking for a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our busy supermarket in Porto. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with no experience required and visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
- Maintain accurate cash drawer and ensure all transactions are accounted for
- Scan and bag items for customers while providing excellent customer service
- Answer customer inquiries about products, prices, and store policies
- Keep checkout area clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)
- Basic math skills to handle cash transactions quickly and accurately
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
