Formwork Assistant

As a Formwork Assistant, you will play an important role in the construction of structures by assisting formworkers in their daily tasks. You will work alongside experienced professionals and gain valuable on-the-job training to develop your skills and advance in your career. This is a contract job located in Braga, Portugal with a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist formworkers in setting up and stripping formwork systems according to specifications
- Mix and pour concrete into forms under the guidance of formworkers
- Measure, cut, and shape wood or metal materials for formwork
- Help with the installation of reinforcing materials such as rebar
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used for formwork
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- No prior experience is required, but a willingness to learn and work hard is essential
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials and working at heights
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is preferred
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Must have your own visa or be eligible to work in Portugal
