Job Title: Junior Accountant in Porto, Portugal



We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day financial operations of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting with monthly financial reports and preparing journal entries
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconciling bank statements and credit card statements
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintaining accurate and organized financial records
- Assisting with tax filings and audits as needed

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software programs
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
